Extended Bio:
Emmet Montiecarlo has explained themselves as a quilt made from patches of different experiences and people. The lessons they have learned about family, friends, love, and society allow the lyrics to fall out naturally, and they allow their emotions to create the groove. Moving from Houston TX, to Chicago IL at 18 with just a few songs and a dream, the new connections and skills Emmet has taken from their time at Columbia College Chicago, and the opportunities to experiment and play with their sound in both singer showcases and sound design for plays has shifted Emmet's sound into something captivating and intriguing to all ears. And as they just closed out their senior showcase, along with producing their EP, Color Gels, they hope to produce shows both for themselves and their collaborators through their local network of artist called, The Haus of Montiecarlo. They plan to slowly grow this network through the social media presence they started building for their senior showcase, and through other collaborative work such as composing for the short film, Boy House.
